Ford Unveiled its new SUV – Ford EcoSport 2012

Ford India unveiled the images of the first upcoming sports utility vehicle (SUV) Ford EcoSport. Also known as, the mini-SUV is expected to be showcased at the forthcoming Auto Expo 2012 to be held in New Delhi and at the Beijing Motorshow in April 2012.

A merger of a SUV and compact hatchback, the upcoming Ford EcoSport’s expected price is going to be Rs. 8 lacs to Rs. 12 lacs. Elevated driving position, rugged appearance and expanded cargo space are the defining characteristics of this model. Moreover, class-leading fuel economy is expected from the model to please Indian audience.

The new, EcoBoost engines includes the turbocharge and direct injection technologies found in advanced diesel engines and pushes them even further. As a result, it has a more compact petrol engine that delivers power to rival a traditional 1.6L petrol engine, but uses up to 20% less fuel.

Maruti Swift Dzire CS – 2012

Maruti Swift Dzire CS is an upcoming new model from Dzire and getting unveiled in February 2012. The old and new, both the cars look almost similar with minute differences like dimensions and some exterior features. The new Maruti Swift Dzire CS is shorter in length than the traditional Dzire. However, the costing of the new Maruti Swift Dzire CS will be the same as the old one as the car uses the same engine and have around 150 new features to support the price.

Maruti Swift Dzire CS Power

The power in new Maruti Swift Dzire CS has been increased due to new Swift platform used in the manufacturing of the new sedan. Infact, a K-series engine is used in the petrol models of Dzire CS. This 1.2 litre K12 Petrol motors generates a power of 86 bhp at 6000 rpm and a torque output of 114 Nm at 4000 rpm . The initial Swift Dzire petrol was giving 84 bhp of power and CS version gives 86 bhp.

Talking about the diesel power train which is said to be more refined, a 1.3 DOHC diesel engine powers the new Swift Dzire CS. Peak power of 74 bhp at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm is what one gets out of this 1248 cc engine. The DDIS CRDI engine sourced from Fiat results in great power hauling.

Maruti Swift Dzire CS Engine Capacity & Performance

Starting with the petrol model, one will find a K series engine in the bonnet that is powerful enough to spit out 86 bhp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 114 Nm at 4000 rpm. The 1.2 litre engine has a displacement of 1197 cc. The BSIV compliant engine is mated with a five speed manual and a four speed automatic transmission. The USP about this K 12M petrol engine is that it is combined with a Variable Valve Timing so that one can see a jump in power and improvement in fuel efficiency. As per ARAI, the petrol version is able to deliver 19.1 kmpl of mileage.

The other one is in diesel guise. A 1.3 litre DOHC (Double Over Head Camshaft) diesel engine with a displacement of 1248 cc will be fitted in the new diesel car in India. This DDiS engine will be bestowed with superior CRDI fuel injection system with turbocharger and intercooler combination that offers efficient combustion and higher torque of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. This advanced diesel engine will produce an impressive peak power of 74 bhp at 4000 rpm. The mileage offered by diesel variants is phenomenal at 23.4 kmpl.
Maruti Swift Dzire CS Petrol Models

Maruti Swift Dzire CS LXi	A petrol variant powered by a 1.2 litre K-series engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Power and torque output will be 86 bhp and 114 Nm respectively. Mileage of 19.1 kmpl is what this engine can boast of.
Maruti Swift Dzire CS VXi	A mid-petrol variant that will be powered by the same 1.2 litre petrol engine. However, Maruti has mated this engine to a four speed automatic transmission. Normal AC with blower is present in the sedan. Brake assist with EBD is given in this model.
Maruti Swift Dzire CS ZXi	This is a 5 speed manual gearbox only to avoid jaw-dropping price label on Dzire CS. However, customers will get lured by steering-mounted audio controls, climate control, rear defogger or essentials like a driver seat height adjustments and seatbelt height adjuster.

Overview of Hyundai Eon

Hyundai is coming up with a new car into the Indian market in coming few days. The Hyundai has named this new car as Hyundai Eon and will be unveiled in next few days. Hyundai Eon has been based on the new technology and is very much different from Santro or i10. Hyundai has decided to launch this car in other countries as well after its launch in India. There has been no official announcement about the process of the Eon but most preferably the expected price of new Hyundai Eon will be around: Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs.3,80,000

The all new Hyundai Eon has been launched in direct competition to Chevrolet Spark and the top model of Maruti Alto. The new Hyundai Eon has a 814cc three cylindrical petrol engine which generates a power of around 55bhp and torque of 76.5 Nm. The Sportz variant of Hyundai Eon features power steering, front power windows, air conditioner, driver side airbag, body colored bumpers, music system with 4 speakers, USB port, aux-in and remote levers for fuel lid plus tail gate.

Tata Motors have recently launched its new very popular hatchback, Tata Indica Vista. This new Tata Indica Vista was initially launched in Mumbai. This new Tata Indica Vista comes up with exciting features and specifications along with very elegant and stunning looks and gives you a sedan feel. Along with the very powerful engine, the Tata Indica Vista also gives ample interior space which has always been a plus point for Tata India Vista. The new Tata Indica Vista will be available nationwide from 1^st Sep, 2011. The price of new Tata Indica Vista is around Rs.3.88 lakh for new Tata Indica Vista Petrol whereas, Rs 4.79 lakh for the Tata Indica Vista Quadra jet diesel.

The all new Tata Indica Vista has new front chrome grill, new triple barreled head lamp, and all new chrome package on the exteriors. It has also given very sporty looking alloy wheels which add a little extra to its looks. The new Tata Indica Vista is also available in a new color-Summer Sparkle.

The interiors of the new Tata Indica Vista have a new soft feel dashboard and door pads. These has been added keeping in mind its sedan image. The audio controls are given on the 4-spoke steering wheel. 2-DIN music system can be controlled with it. USB, Aux and Bluetooth connectivity is also available in the new Tata Indica Vista.

There are electrically adjusted outer rear view mirrors besides electrically operated HVAC controls.

The new Tata Indica Vista has an adjustable driving position, which gives its driver a little more comfort. The steering can be tilted, adjusted to any position along with its height adjustment feature. Seats have lumbar support. This car has enough space for your luggage. The same 1.3 liter common rail direct injection Quadra jet diesel engine and 1.4 litre MPFi Safire petrol engine powers the car. Among major changes are clutch-to-Start, top of the line safety & security features like ABS with EBD and dual airbags. Apart from this, the new Tata Indica Vista includes Other Standard safety features like side intrusion beam on all four doors, collapsible steering column, child safety locks on rear doors, anti-submarine seats, and front disc brakes.
